The Nutcracker

The Surrey City Orchestra is excited to once again present our family friendly production of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, The Nutcracker. This production of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet, features the professional musicians of the Surrey City Orchestra, dancers from schools in Surrey, such as the Central Ballet Academy and the Kvitka Ukrainian School of Dance, and guests from Vancouver’s Ammara Dance Company. Also participating are the award winning Surrey Children’s Choir, directed by Civic Treasure Stephen Horning. This seasonal favourite will be led by internationally renowned conductor, Les Dala, who is the Music Director of the Vancouver Bach Choir, a guest conductor of Vancouver Opera, and The Goh Ballet.
